Easy Bread Recipes
Old Fashioned Sweet Bread – This is a super easy recipe that has been around for many many years. It’s also very versatile, you can add in nuts, fruit, etc. Great reviews and fun to make. This recipe uses no yeast.
Old Fashioned Hobo Bread – This is another recipe that is very old but easy to make. It’s super versatile too. If you don’t like or have raisins just leave them out. You can leave out the nuts too. Another bread recipe that uses no yeast.
Chocolate Chip Banana Bread – This is a wonderful bread that is super easy to make. Not a lot of ingredients but still super delicious. You can also switch out the chocolate chips, with coconut, peanut butter chips, etc. So good with butter!
Cinnamon Bread – This delicious bread is easy to make and kids love it. Great reviews on this one. You can even make your own cinnamon chips, which also have great reviews. Fun and creative time in the kitchen!
Old Fashioned Amish Bread – This is a classic recipe for delicious bread. Great with butter and jelly and it’s easy to make. You will need yeast for this bread but it’s a great bread recipe to start with.

These easy cake recipes are basic ingredients that most people will have on hand. They are all delicious and pretty easy to make. I think these are a great place to start if you want to get in the kitchen and start baking!

Sometimes you want something really simple and a cake mix is a great place to start. Cake mixes make a wonderful base for many fun recipes. Many people sometime don’t have flour, sugar, etc all on hand. These are some of our favorites!
Elvis Presley Cake – No one will know this is made with a cake mix! It’s seriously that good. It’s wonderful to talk to an event or just to enjoy with your family and friends.
Ooey Gooey Butter Cake – Super easy and very versatile. You can make this cake with pretty much any cake mix. Which is why this one is a great recipe to keep. Pretty basic ingredients and easy to make.
Honey Bun Cake – This recipe is super simple to make and delicious. If you want to get in the kitchen and bake but not sure where to begin this is a really easy one! 
Yellow Banana Cake – If you love banana this one is for you! Soooo easy to make and absolutely delicious. My family request this one a lot. You can add a cream cheese frosting if you like, but this cake is just as good without it.
Chocolate Chip Devil’s Food Cake – This chocolate cake is incredible! People will never guess it was made with a cake mix. Simple ingredients and easy to make.

Cornbread Muffins – These classic muffins are a staple in our house. We make them weekly and enjoy them with everything from pot roast to soup!
Cinnamon Donut Muffins – These are always a hit! Rave reviews and simple to make. They really do taste like a donut.
Cheddar Muffins – These are only four ingredients and super easy to prepare. Perfect addition to any meal!
Easy Baking Substitutes and Additions
You can easily use evaporated milk in the place of milk in a recipe. I do that quite often, especially when making a cake.
