Here are some great Christmas side dishes. Some families make a big Christmas Eve Dinner and some wait till Christmas day. No matter when you celebrate the holiday, the side dishes are so important! We all have those dishes we look forward to ever year. For me, I just can’t have a Christmas lunch without my mother’s  creamy mashed potatoes or my grandmother’s barley casserole (This casserole is different but every guest I’ve ever had at my holiday table has loved it. Give it a try!). Forget the presents, I gotta have those two dishes to make it complete! If you’re stumped on side dishes this year……….here are some of the best!

Garlic Cheese Grits-A true southern staple! This dish has to be on our table for the Holidays.


Ritzy Brussels Sprout-this side dish is always a hit.

Cheesy Macaroni and Cheese-we make this dish every year. If you like a creamy macaroni and cheese, try this one.


Broccoli Casserole-this casserole has so many wonderful reviews. It is a favorite of our family. If you want to try a broccoli casserole with a twist, try this one.


Amish Pasta Salad– if you’re going to make a pasta salad it needs to be this one. It is so good!


Cheesy Garlic Cauliflower Casserole-if you love cauliflower, this dish is a must for your holiday.

Maple Baked Beans-SO good and perfect with a Christmas Ham!


Southern Pea Salad-this is a classic recipe that everyone loves.

Savory Corn Pudding-this is a recipe you’ll make over and over again. Your guests will love this dish.


Deviled Eggs-we make these for every holiday.

Creamed Peas and Potatoes-this is an old recipe that has been in our family for years and years.
