Cranberry Baked Beans

2 (28 ounce) cans of Baked Beans

1 (14 ounce) can of Whole Cranberry Sauce

6-8 slices of bacon, chopped

1/2 cup of chopped onions

2 tablespoons of mustard

2 tablespoons of ketchup

2 tablespoons of barbecue sauce

Preheat oven to 300. In skillet cook bacon and remove. Add onions and cook for a bit until tender and remove. Combine all ingredients in a casserole dish with a lid and bake on 300 for 2 hours. You could easily put them in a crock pot instead of the oven to cook as well.

  1. I am always looking for different recipes and this one sparked my interest. I served it for Thanksgiving and it was a big hit! We are having lots of family this year for Christmas dinner and I plan to make it again. It’s really good, thank you so much for sharing!5 stars

  2. Christine says:

Question – would it mess up the recipe if I used regular pork and beans instead of baked beans? I’m thinking they would not be as sweet which would be a winner for me.

    1. The Southern Lady says:

I have never tried it but you can, I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.

  3. should you drain the cranberries?

    1. The Southern Lady says:

No, there isnt much to drain in canned whole cranberry sauce.

  4. Vicki Obregon says:

For how long in Crock-Pot @ what temp?

    1. The Southern Lady says:

The temp would depend on how fast you want to cook them. They are only cooking the oven on 300, for 2 hours, which is a low temp. So low in the crock pot for a few hours would be comparable.
