Crock pot pasta with cheese and Italian sausage is a wonderful weeknight meal for your family.
2 24 ounce jars of spaghetti sauce. I used traditional, but you can use any kind.
2 small cans of tomato sauce
1lb box of Faralle pasta uncooked
1 lb Italian sausage
15 ounce container of ricotta cheese
1 container of whipped Greek yogurt cream cheese
1 package of shredded Italian blend cheese
2 tablespoons of Italian seasoning
Brown Italian sausage for 8-10 min. Once sausage is done, drain any fat and then add half of one bottle of the spaghetti sauce to it. Let it simmer for 1-2 min.
In a bowl combine ricotta cheese, cream cheese and Italian seasoning. Stir until smooth. Spray crock pot with cooking spray. Then layer the ingredients until crock pot is full. Start with a layer of spaghetti sauce, then sausage, then add pasta and cover with tomato sauce, then ricotta cheese mixture and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
I repeated 2 more times. Cook on high for 2 hours, then stir mixture together and turn down to low to cook for 1 more hour. Before serving, put one more layer of shredded cheese on top. It will melt in a minute or so. Serve with your favorite garlic bread. Quick and easy pasta dish!! This makes enough for 6-8 people. We always have plenty of leftovers and it reheats great. Enjoy!!

Is this made with sausage links?
No, it’s made with ground Italian sausage. You could certainly use links.
The dry pasta goes in layers uncooked or cooked and drained? Sounds wonderful.
Uncooked, which makes it that much easier!
What is Greek yogurt cream cheese? I’ve never heard of that.
I get it at Walmart right next to the regular cream cheese: http://www.franklinfoods.com/greek-cream-cheese
