APPLE CINNAMON BUNDT CAKE
Apple cinnamon bundt cake is a delicious dessert.
Make this apple cinnamon bundt cake to serve family and friends on any occasion. It is a wonderful dessert cake with coffee and a great snack with a tall glass of milk. I can’t leave this cake alone when it is in the house. I keep cutting of tiny slivers because this makes me think I am not making a pig out of myself but I am doing just that and should just eat the whole cake at one time. I make a lot of cakes and try to have one in the house for company or family at all times. It is just so nice to offer someone coffee and cake and visit while we eat. This cake really does not need a frosting. I just sprinkle on some powdered sugar but you can frost if you want. You might also like our recipe for chocolate pound cake.
Apple cinnamon bundt cake will become a favorite.
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup butter, softened or 1 1/2 sticks or 12 tablespoons
3 eggs
1/2 cup white granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large apples, peeled and grated (I used Gala, you can use whatever you have)
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts, (optional)
Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a large bowl. Cream butter and eggs with mixer, add white and brown sugar and vanilla extract. Fold in grated apples and nuts with a spoon and mix until all ingredients are wet. Spray a 10 inch bundt pan with cooking spray and pour in cake batter. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes until center tests done. Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan. Make 1 bundt cake. Enjoy.
