How big is your can of soup?
It’s just the regular soup can, they are 10.5 ounces.
Sounds really good and looks great. I have everything but the cheddar cheese soup; what could I do instead? Oh and I don’t have Mozzarella cheese. Suggestions?
Probably cream of chicken, not diluted would work and you can use any cheese you like.
Can you cut the recipe for Hash Brown & Sausage recipe in 1/2 for smaller gatherings?
I’m sure you could.
I make it for church breakfast about once a month and it’s ALWAYS gone!!I make lots of other things like fruit, donuts, cinnamon rolls, coffee cake etc but this is the one that’s ALWAYS gone!
Love it!! That is wonderful so glad it’s such a hit!
Excellent highly recommend
This is great recipe for me! It’s just me and my disabled son and we rarely make 9x 13 dishes anymore. I plan on baking it in a muffin pan and then freezing the leftovers. This is like a quiche and I see them in the grocery store freezer cases. Having them in the freezer makes breakfast easy, just top it with milk gravy and you have a Southern Gourmet dish!!
GREAT idea!!
I made this Tater tot casserole for Sunday School and it was a amazing. Their was none left. I made it up the night before and baked the next morning
Yay! So glad it was a hit!
Can the Tator Tot casserole be made the night before?
This dish reheats well so I think you could!
Look’s so good cannot wait to make it, but have just one question.
Do you have to use sausage meat in this recipe?
Can we use ground beef instead cooked and drained ? I would have to make both
but not real sure about your recipe saying use two pounds of sausage meat. Just what
sausage meat is it you are referring to ? Sorry not the best cook on the block.
Thank you for all your yummy recipes you ladies put out for all of us.
Happy week to you and your families.
Hi, the recipe is made with pork breakfast sausage, as in Jimmy Dean, Tennessee Pride, etc. You can certainly make it with ground beef. I hope that helps!
This sounds yummy and have printed off the recipe to try it; but would would like to know if it’s okay to use the bags of “pre-shredded cheese”, or do you need to buy the chunks of cheese and shred it yourself? Thanks for the recipes! 🙂
Either will work just fine. Enjoy!
I made this for me and my Husband. I liked how easy it was to put together. Delicious too!
Made this on Thanksgiving weekend. My husband went nuts over it. It’s on my Christmas morning menu. Thank you ladies for such delicious recipes. I’ve never been disappointed by any of them! I’ve been cooking your dishes for at least 10 years and they have all been great.
Can this be put together the night before & put in refrigerator then cooked the next morning?
I’ve only made it the way I’ve written the recipe. You can try it! Thanks!
