Pumpkin Angel Food Cake - The Southern Lady Cooks

This Pumpkin Angel Food Cake is one the easiest cakes you’ll ever make. Plus it’s so good! Your family and friends will think you spent hours in the kitchen on this amazing Pumpkin Angel Food Cake, when in reality its only 4 ingredients (without the icing) and super easy to make! This cake is perfect for when you are in a hurry and need something quick. We loved the taste of this cake and can’t wait to make it again.

Pumpkin Angel Food Cake Ingredients Needed:

Box of Angel Food Cake Mix – We use Betty Crocker

Libby’s 100% pure pumpkin

Chopped pecans (optional)

Pumpkin Pie Spice, we make our own.

You are NOT making the cake according to the cake mix.. you are making it the way we have instructed in the recipe card. You are only using the mix to make this cake.  This cake mix is just that, a DRY cake mix, it doesn’t come with egg whites or anything extra. This is the ONLY cake mix we have ever used to make this recipe. We use a Betty Crocker cake mix. It’s only 4 simple things, the cake mix, pumpkin, chopped nuts and pumpkin pie spice. Don’t over complicate this recipe. I let the cake sit about 10 minutes in the pan before removing it.

“I can’t believe this cake is only 4 ingredients and so easy to make. It’s become my favorite fall dessert.” – Kate

“This cake is so simple and absolutely delicious! Definitely be making it again!” – Carol

“I made this yesterday and it is DELICIOUS and soooo easy! I even added 3/4 cup of semi-sweet Chocolate chips.” -Tenley

This cake is delicious without a frosting but you could easily add a cream cheese frosting or just a basic powdered sugar glaze.
