This recipe for crock pot ziti is so easy and soooo good! It literally takes 2.5 hours so if you’re like us and eat dinner a bit late, you can make it after work. Great to take to a potluck or make for a group! It makes a lot of food! I made this in my 4 quart crock pot and it was full, so you could easily use a larger one.  The best part? You don’t have to cook the noodles!

This Cheesy Crock Pot Ziti is delicious and so easy.

The cream cheese will be a bit lumpy, its fine. Spread around 2 cups of the Ragu Pasta Sauce on the bottom of the crock pot. Then place 1/3 of the ziti uncooked on top of the pasta sauce. Next drizzle about half a jar of the tomato sauce on top of the ziti. Dollop 1/3 of the cheese mixture over the ziti and lightly spread. Then cover that layer with shredded Parmesan. Repeat this two more times, layering the pasta, sauce and cheese. Cook on high for 2.5 to 3 hours until the pasta is done. That’s it!! This made a 4 quart crock pot full, so 8-10 servings.  Enjoy

  1. When you deviate from a recipe you are no longer critiquing the original recipe. Make the recipe as is, critique it and decide if you like it it or not. When you change it so much you are now making a new recipe. The original recipe has the correct times for a thick cut of fish baked in a sauce. To add different cheeses only takes away from the taste of the fish. Sometimes, simplicity is best but like so many other North American dishes, if a little is good then a whole lot more must be better. Not so.

  2. Evelyn Wilkinson says:

I’ve never seen Greek yogurt cream cheese. Is there a reason for using this type over regular cream cheese other than calories? Can the Greek yogurt cream cheese be replaced by regular cream cheese?

    1. The Southern Lady says:

Yes, you can use the regular. Should be fine! It was only for reduced calories.

  3. The Southern Lady says:

Wonderful! Some people keep saying it isn’t there, but I see it on every browser.

    1. Paula Briones says:

I also have looked everywhere for the print button and a pin button, but they are not showing up. Maybe I need to change the browser. Glad I read that comment.

  4. Bill Sylvester says:

Sorry, but I don’t see a printer icon.

What browser are you using, I see it fine in Google Chrome, but if you’re using Firefox, it may be blocking it.
