CHEESY CROCK POT ZITI
Cheesy Crock Pot Ziti is such an easy dish. You don’t even have to cook the noodles!
This recipe for crock pot ziti is so easy and soooo good! It literally takes 2.5 hours so if you’re like us and eat dinner a bit late, you can make it after work. Great to take to a potluck or make for a group! It makes a lot of food! I made this in my 4 quart crock pot and it was full, so you could easily use a larger one. The best part? You don’t have to cook the noodles!
This Cheesy Crock Pot Ziti is delicious and so easy.
2 (24 ounce jars) Ragu Six Cheese Sauce (you can use any type of sauce that you like
)2 (8 ounce) cans of Tomato Sauce15 oz of Ricotta Cheese
1 (8 ounce) container of Greek Yogurt Cream Cheese or regular cream cheese
2 tablespoons of Italian Seasoning
1 (1lb) box of Ziti or Penne noodles UNCOOKED
Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Spray nonstick spray on crock pot and turn to high. In a separate bowl mix your greek yogurt cream cheese, ricotta cheese and about two tablespoons of Italian seasoning. The cream cheese will be a bit lumpy, its fine. Spread around 2 cups of the Ragu Pasta Sauce on the bottom of the crock pot. Then place 1/3 of the ziti uncooked on top of the pasta sauce. Next drizzle about half a jar of the tomato sauce on top of the ziti. Dollop 1/3 of the cheese mixture over the ziti and lightly spread. Then cover that layer with shredded Parmesan. Repeat this two more times, layering the pasta, sauce and cheese. Cook on high for 2.5 to 3 hours until the pasta is done. That’s it!! This made a 4 quart crock pot full, so 8-10 servings. Enjoy
