If you are a fan of peaches and pecans you will want to try this delicious pie too! It has a wonderful crust and is a wonderful summer dessert.

If you have followed our website for any amount of time, then you know that we love pound cakes. You will find a list of our favorites at the bottom of this recipe. Pound cakes are such an old fashioned dessert, so we figured why not add some peaches!

🍴KEY INGREDIENTS

  • Butter, softened
  • White Sugar
  • Eggs
  • Vanilla
  • Cinnamon
  • All-purpose flour
  • Baking soda
  • Sour cream
  • Fresh peaches
  • Pecans
  • Confectioners sugar

🍽️HOW TO MAKE

This peach pound cake is actually pretty easy to make we think the texture is perfect!

COOKING STEPS

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 10 inch bundt pan.  In a mixing bowl cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and mix well. 

Step 2
Continue mixing while adding flour, baking soda, cinnamon, vanilla extract and sour cream. Fold in peaches and pecans. 

Step 3
Bake for 60-70 minutes or until test done. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan. Dust with confectioners sugar and serve with whipped cream or ice cream.

All ovens vary so you may have to cook this longer or not as long. You need to test your cake to see when it’s done. I have had to cook pound cakes much longer than the specified time. Always take a knife or skewer and poke next to the center to see if it comes out clean.

STORING & SERVING SIZE

We store this cake in a cool place or even the refrigerator. Since it is made with fruit its best to keep it cool. It makes 10-12 servings.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 cup of butter softened

  • 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/2 cups of sour cream
  • 2 1/2-3 cups of diced fresh peaches
  • 1/2 cup of chopped pecans
  • Confectioners sugar

Instructions
