CHICKEN TENDERS WITH HONEY MUSTARD SAUCE
We love chicken just about any way you fix it. These chicken tenders are a family favorite. These breast strips with the sauce make for a great main dish for any meal.
Chicken tenders with our homemade honey mustard sauce will become a favorite meal anytime.
1 to 2 pounds boneless, skinless breast strips
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cups oil
1 egg
3/4 cups milk
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Pinch of cayenne (Optional)
Whisk together milk and egg in a bowl. In another bowl or pan whisk together to the flour and spices. Place tenders in the milk mixture. Heat oil in large skillet. Remove tenders from milk and dip in flour mixture. Cook in hot oil until crusty and tender. About 10 to 15 minutes on each side.
Honey Mustard Sauce
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup honey
3/4 cup mayonnaise
Whisk together in a bowl. Will keep in the refrigerator for several days.
