Chicken Tenders with Homemade Honey Mustard Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 pounds boneless skinless breast strips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cups oil
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pinch of cayenne Optional

Honey Mustard Sauce Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise

Instructions

  • Whisk together milk and egg in a bowl. In another bowl or pan whisk together to the flour and spices. Place tenders in the milk mixture. Heat oil in large skillet. Remove tenders from milk and dip in flour mixture. Cook in hot oil until crusty and tender. About 10 to 15 minutes on each side.
