This green bean recipe has replaced EVERY green bean recipe in my family. Every time I serve it, it gets rave reviews. When I have friends over for a meal, it is requested. It is five star plus!
YAY!! So glad you said this.. so many people wont even try it! We agree.. it is delicious.
They don’t know what they’re missing!
Made these yesterday for our work Thanksgiving and everyone loved them!! Gonna make them for our family dinner. Thank you ladies.
YAY! We are thrilled to hear this! We love this dish too!
Do you cover the green beans when baking them?
No we don’t cover them.
I’m pretty positive I didn’t do something right. I think I should have added either more brown sugar or more soy sauce. They just didn’t have enough flavor for my taste, but I will be making them again. I’m just gonna play around with the recipe to see what works best for me.
had a bunch of green beans, everyone loved your recipe, now i gotta get more … Thank You Ladies.. will pass along….
So glad this recipe was a hit!
Tried this recipe for the first time last night. This will definitely be made over and over again. Our family always made them with bacon and onions which is good, but this just makes you want to go back again and again. Will be sharing this recipe with my friends.
YAY!! So glad you enjoyed these green beans!
Great cooked in crock pot!
Kennedy, How long didyou cook in the crockpot?
My German aunt raised me and her green beans were my favorite. Bacon, onions, green beans and then a splash of vinegar. Wow, as a kid it was my favorite. I also now occasionally add soy sauce or other items but I’ve found that orange balsamic is my favorite for the vinegar. But I can’t find that anywhere but amazon. Great method you have and my next batch will be your recipe.
This is a great recipe! My daughter makes it and it’s now “her dish” to bring to family potlucks.
