SPICES TO KEEP ON HAND

Spices to Keep on Hand - The Southern Lady Cooks

I wanted to make a list to show spices I like to have on hand. I think spices can be the most expensive part of some recipes so if you have them in your kitchen cabinet you will be set for the year. There are cheaper places to buy them such as Big Lots has spices cheap. They may not be top of the line, but they work!  We buy a lot of ours at the Amish Bulk Store we visit every year. I believe once you have your spice cabinet full, you can enjoy many great recipes and not break the bank. There is nothing worse than seeing a recipe that calls for 4-5 spices and you do not have them on hand. This is not a complete list of all spices, but these are great spices to keep on hand.
