HONEY WALNUT COOKIES
Honey walnut cookies will spice up your day! This honey walnut cookie recipe will become one of your favorites. These cookies are so good with coffee or milk and adults as well as children will love these cookies. They are great for any gathering, party or game day. This is an easy recipe and these honey walnut cookies keep well in an air tight container. They make great gifts for family and friends. You could double this recipe. These cookies would be great for school lunch boxes. They make great treats and snacks for anytime you want something sweet. I have been making these cookies for my children and grandchildren for years and they never last long! You can make them any size you want but it has been my experience that children like BIG cookies.

2 eggs 1/2 teaspoon vanilla flavoring 1 cup honey 1 cup sugar 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon cinnamon 3 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup walnut pieces In a large mixing bowl whisk together eggs, honey, sugar, and vanilla. Add baking soda, cinnamon, and flour and mix well. Fold in walnuts. Spray a cookie sheet. Roll dough into balls with your hands and flatten with a fork dipped in sugar. (Can sprinkle more sugar over tops). Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown on tops. Makes 2 to 3 dozen depending on size you make them. Enjoy!Honey Walnut Cookies
