Cheddar Corn Quiche The Southern Lady Cooks

This quiche is good anytime. I’ve served it for breakfast, brunch and dinner. It’s wonderful garnished with some cilantro, sour cream and salsa. It’s also great served with a side salad or some fresh sliced tomatoes. It also makes the perfect side dish to ham. Any way you choose to serve it, we love it! Cheddar Corn Quiche

1 (9 inch) pie crust

4 eggs

1 1/2 cups of whole kernal corn (I used canned corn, drained)

1 1/2 cups of half and half cream

1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon of smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon of black pepper

Preheat oven to 375. Mix all ingredients together and pour in to pie shell. Place in oven and bake for 50-60 minutes or until done.

Notes. I serve this quiche garnished with cilantro, sour cream and salsa. I would think you could use frozen corn, just thaw and drain.

  1. Sounds marvelous. I do have half and half, but was wondering if you could substitute 2% or whole milk for the half and half. Looking to cut calories a little. Thanks. Absolutely love your recipes. Thanks for sharing.
