Snickerdoodle Cake Cookies The Southern Lady Cooks

 

These cookies are so easy to make. They never last very long at my house even though this recipe makes 25-30 cookies. They are so soft and chewy, I promise you can’t have just one. The butter really makes this cookie pop with flavor.  You will be surprised at how good these cookies are even though they are made from a mix and you can make them in very little time when you need something in a hurry or just want a delicious cookie to snack on.  They are wonderful with coffee or milk.

Snickerdoodle Cake Mix Cookies Ingredients

1 16.5 oz deluxe moist yellow cake mix

2/3 cup of butter, softened

2 eggs

1/2 cup of sugar

3 teaspoons of cinnamon

Mix cake mix, butter and eggs together in a mixing bowl. Chill in refrigerator for one hour. Preheat oven to 350. Spray a baking sheet with non stick spray. Mix cinnamon and sugar together in a small bowl. Roll dough in one inch size balls and then roll in sugar/cinnamon mixture and place on baking sheet 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes. This recipe will make 25-30 cookies depending on the size of your cookies.

I really like this recipe because it is only five ingredients. It also calls for no Cream of Tartar, which can be nice because sometimes I don’t have that on hand.
