This peach Cobbler is da Bomb. I actually had some peaches I bought and put in my freezer and used some of them. It was delicious. I also made another one but never had fresh Peaches. I had bought 2 glass jars of peach halves at Sam’s Club. I drained 1 of the jars and cut the halves in slices. They worked and the Cobbler was still delicious as with the fresh Peaches. Just a comment from my experience.
YAY! Thank you so much for letting us know how well this worked for you!
Wonderful, tasty recipe.
I make this with canned peaches all the time. Just add 1 tablespoons of corn starch to peach liquid. I also add a little cinnamon and nutmeg to peaches. Taste great.

Hi Tanya, Thanks for trying my recipes and being a part of the site. Glad you enjoyed the cobbler. Have a great weekend.
I’ve tried a number of your recipes and I get raves. Trying the Peach Cobbler but substituted with frozen peaches that I brought to a boil with sugar and a half of juice from a lemon. Keeping my fingers crossed. You are my go to for so many dishes and desserts. Appreciate your recipes!!

Yummy thank u so much
Love all your recipes. Do you have any made with Splenda or without sugar for us diabetics?
Hi B.J. Several people have told me they changed some of my recipes to use splenda and they worked for them. I have not tried making them using anything but sugar. Sorry.
I made this a couple weeks ago and it was delicious!! reminded me of the delicious cobbler my Grandma made. Thank you for the recipe!
Could you make this with supermarket canned sliced peaches?
I have not made it that way but would think you could. You could either use peach pie filling or you would have to thicken the canned peaches. Thanks for coming by and hope this works for you.
canned peaches are ok if you drain them well but it is a lot nicer if fresh peaches are used
Just love this its great
I love this recipes and i made it and it was s0 good
This looks soo good and my favorite is peaches.
This is just too funny, Katherine made peach cobblers recently and didn’t see many great biscuit topped recipes. She could’ve used this. Yes, hers were fine, just dandy in fact. She was torn between doing the peaches on the stove first or not and decided not to. I bet she might do it this way next time to compare. Great recipe Southern Lady!
YUMMMMMIEEEEE!!! THANK YOU so much for all these great recipes!!! and delicious too!
