CREAMY SMOKED SAUSAGE PASTA
This creamy smoked sausage pasta is delicious!
This pasta dish is so easy to prepare and is perfect for a weeknight dinner. It takes less than 30 minutes to put this dish together and is full of cheesy goodness. The Cajun seasoning and smoked sausage add a wonderful flavor. This recipe can easily be doubled for a larger meal. Add a side salad and our garlic cheese biscuits and you’re set.
Ingredients needed for Smoked Sausage Pasta:
Rigatoni
Smoked sausage
Diced tomatoes, drained (I use diced tomatoes that have green pepper, celery and onion included)
Heavy whipping cream
Shredded cheddar cheese
Garlic powder
Worcestershire sauce
Smoked paprika
Notes: This dish serves 3-4 but can easily be doubled. You could also use any type of pasta that your family enjoys. I’ve made this dish with turkey smoked sausage and it’s just as good. It’s also wonderful with andouille sausage.

Creamy Smoked Sausage Pasta
Ingredients
- 8 ounces of rigatoni
- 8 ounces of smoked sausage sliced
- 14.5 ounces canned diced tomatoes drained (I use diced tomatoes that have green pepper, celery and onion included)
- 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
- 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 teaspoons of Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package. Brown sausage over medium heat in an oven safe skillet for about 4-5 minutes until browned. Mix in diced tomatoes, cream, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce and smoked paprika and simmer for 5 minutes to blend spices.
- Add in pasta and cheese and stir. Broil in oven for 5 minutes to get the cheese really cheesy.
