ROLO PRETZEL TURTLES

Rolo pretzel turtles are one of my favorite things to make when I want something sweet.

This is such an easy recipe for Rolo pretzel turtles and these little snacks are addictive.  You can’t stop eating them!  Children will love helping you make these and they are great for a last minute gift for the holidays.  I make these all during the year to serve family and guests for a sweet treat.

Rolo pretzel turtles are easy and delicious!

You only need three ingredients:

Pretzels

Rolos

Pecans (You can also use M & M candies, the regular or the peanuts on top)

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread however many pretzels you want on the sheet.  I use the square snap pretzels.  Put a rolo on top of each pretzel.  Place in a preheated 300 degree oven for 3 minutes.  Remove from oven and lightly push a pecan half or chopped pecans onto the top of each turtle.  Place baking sheet in the refrigerator for 30 to 45 minutes to harden. Remove and place in airtight container and store in a cool place.  That’s it!  Enjoy!

Note:  I toast my pecans first but you don’t have to do this. If you want them toasted, dip pecan halves in melted butter and toast in a preheated 325 degree oven for 10 minutes.

To make them look more Christmas, you can add red and green sprinkles too.
