EASIEST FUDGE EVER

We love fudge and this easy version is quick and delicious! Super versatile too.

Easiest Fudge Ever

❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE

This is the quickest and easiest fudge recipe you will ever make! It only takes a few minutes and it is so good. I cut this into small pieces and keep it in my fridge for when I am craving something sweet, and since I am a chocoholic, it makes the perfect treat.

SWAPS & ADDITIONS

This a super versatile and straightforward base recipe. You can easily switch out the chips, could use peanut butter or butterscotch or a combination. We have made this with butterscotch and it was delicious. You could also add in some raisins, take out the nuts, add in coconut. This is a recipe you can really play with.

  • Definitely the best and

so easy. This is my go-to recipe for the holidays, and it’s so much easier than my grandma’s recipe, which calls for standing over a stove and cooking that chocolate!

        Sure!

  5. What could I use in place of nuts? Any ideas? Thanks

    1. The Southern Lady says:

I guess you could use raisins or just leave the nuts out.

      1. If I can’t microwave it right now, can I melt it in the stove? If so how long?

      2. The Southern Lady says:

Sure Laura, you can melt it on the stove but I would put it on low and just watch it until it melts so it doesn’t burn.

  6. Patricia Mabry says:

I would love for you to post foods for diabetics, so many of us are have family members that are. Especially calorie deserts.

    1. The Southern Lady says:

Thank you for the suggestion Patricia. Honestly I wouldn’t feel comfortable creating recipes for anyone who is diabetic, since we have no experience with it. We are just southern country cooks, who decided to share our recipes.

  7. Chari R. Cote' says:

Tasty but is it suppose to be a soft fudge? Should I have boiled it? Nothing in recipe about doing that.

    1. The Southern Lady says:

Yes, it is a soft fudge, Chari, but it should set up enough that you can cut it in pieces. It does not get real hard.

  8. Debra Harrelson says:

LOL…dear husband decided to make this while I napped. BUT he used 2 bags of the chips instead of 2 cups. It is still good but alittle to much chocolate for me. So back to the kitchen to make some more. I love him still. LOL

    1. The Southern Lady says:

HAHA! Well good for him for trying!

    2. I bet it set up firm. Lol pat his back for trying.

  9. We are expecting cold weather this weekend so will definitely be making this gorgeous sounding fudge. By the way I am posting from Johannesburg in South Africa. Love your articles

      1. Do you have recipes using
        cocoa?

      2. The Southern Lady says:

If you type cocoa into the search box, any recipes on the site should come up for you.

  12. Jerry C. Tharrington says:

I have question, How much are your cookbooks?

  13. Nici devi says:

I have a question? I wonder if you know of a cookie receip called Broom stick cookies? My motherinlaw made the cookies. I remember she cooked the mixture up on the stove n would only put maybe 6 cookie dough on the cookie sheet. It liquid then spread out when baked before they cooled she would take cookies off n put over a broomstick to cool. They also looked like Lace also she used ground fine pecans in it. I hope you can find this cookie receip for me, my husband would be Soo Grateful, he just loves those cookies! Thanks for all that you can do, I appreciate any input! Have a wonderful n blessed day! Thanks Nici Devi Have a Great n Safe Holiday!

  14. I make a very similar fudge, adding 1/2 jar of marshmallow creme. The consistency is excellent, the flavor is a little richer. It also works well with a 50/50 mix of milk and semisweet chips.

  15. Wondering if this would work with the Chocolate or Caramel Eagle Brand milk and what flavor of chips would you add?

  16. I have made the “easiest fudge” recipe using white chocolate chips and a handfull of miniature marshmallows with the sweetened condensed milk, melt in microwave and add a touch of vanilla and peanut butter. Toss in pwcans or walnuts. Delicious.

    1. Having trouble ordering cookbook. Keeps telling me to enter state. I do and it makes me reenter all my credit info

      1. The Southern Lady says:

Jeanne, I am not sure why you are having an issue. It asks you to enter your zip code when you start the process. If you are out of the US it wont work, but should work fine if you are in the United States. I know it is working, I just processed 5 orders. Where is it asking you for your state, except for when you enter your address?

  17. It is the best (next to the old-fashioned kind my mom made) and so, so addictive!

  18. I use this recipe a lot with one minor addition, I add a quarter tsp of sea salt and sometimes sprinkle a little on top when it is in the try. I would add don’t try to be smart and double the recipe, it never seems to reach the right consistency.
