This honey nut cheerio recipe has definitely become my favorite. I don’t think I will ever make rice krispie treats again. I love chocolate and peanut butter and the addition of marshmallows and honey give them a taste I can’t resist. You can double this recipe but I would eat them all if I did.1/2 cup light corn syrup 1/4 cup white sugar 1/4 cup honey 1/2 cup peanut butter (I use Kroger’s Roasted Peanuts and Honey Peanut Butter to make these) You can use smooth or crunchy peanut butter and any kind you like.) 3 cups honey nut cheerios 1/2 cup miniature marshmallows 1/2 cup chocolate chips Combine corn syrup, sugar, honey and peanut butter in a large sauce pan. Bring to a boil and boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and combine with cereal, marshmallows and chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls on wax paper.
