These pork chops smothered in onions, apples, and honey barbecue sauce make a great dish. Your family and guests will love it!
6 pork chops 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 3 tablespoons cooking oil (I used Canola) 2 tablespoons butter or margarine 1 medium onion, chopped 2 large apples, cored and sliced with peeling left on 3/4 cup bottled honey barbecue sauce 1 teaspoon minced garlic 3/4 cup water Place flour in a shallow dish. Mix in salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder. Dredge chops in flour mixture, coating well. Add butter and oil to skillet and brown chops on both sides. Put chopped onion and apple slices on top of chops. In a bowl mix water, minced garlic, and honey barbecue sauce with a whisk and pour over chops. Cover and simmer 35 – 40 minutes until pork chops are tender. Makes six servings. This is great with mashed potatoes or rice. Enjoy!

Hi Judy…I love this combination of flavors. So fallish…Balisha
Haha! I love this! I laugh because any time my family and I mix fruit and meat, we call it “Meat Candy”. I actually just posted a pork tenderloin with blueberry sauce recipe recently. So much fun- and yes, delicious! I’ll be back for sure- thanks for posting.
These are my favorite meat and this looks so good, yum.
