TASTY TURKEY SALAD
Turkey salad is wonderful for sandwiches.
This is a great recipe for turkey salad. Easy way to use up leftover turkey and you can enjoy this for many days. This turkey salad is very versatile, just add what you like and enjoy!
Turkey salad will become a favorite way to use up holiday leftover turkey.
3 or 4 cups dark and light turkey, cooked and chopped 1 small red apple with skin, chopped 1/3 cup dried cranberries (optional) 1 cup celery, chopped 1/3 cup onion, finely chopped 1/3 cup slivered almonds or walnut pieces 1/2 cup grapes, chopped 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon dried parsley 1/3 cup sour cream 1/3 cup mayonnaise 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard 1 tablespoon honey 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/8 teaspoon black pepper Salt to taste Combine turkey, apple, cranberries, celery, nuts, onion and grapes in bowl. Whisk together lemon juice, parsley, sour cream, mayo, mustard, honey, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Pour over turkey and mix well. Refrigerate for several hours. Makes 6 to 8 cups salad.
