CHOCOLATE CHIP PUMPKIN COOKIES
Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies are always a hit at our house.
Pumpkin cookies will not last long at our house. We love pumpkin cookies at my house and pumpkin is one of my favorite things in the fall or autumn of the year. These Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies will melt in your mouth and you will come back for more! You could double the recipe if making for a crowd. You might also like our recipe for Seven Layer Bars.
These pumpkin cookies are great for tailgating or to take to any event. You won’t bring any back home.
1 1/2 cups canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix) 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup oil 1 egg 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon milk 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla flavoring 1/2 cup chocolate chips 1/2 cup walnuts pieces In a large bowl mix pumpkin, sugar, oil, egg and milk with mixer. Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda and vanilla and continuing mixing. Fold in chocolate chips and walnut pieces. Drop by tablespoons onto a sprayed cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes about 1 1/2 dozen cookies depending on size you make them. Enjoy!Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies

So happy to see this recipe. My mother in law used to make these with raisins instead of chocolate chips, 30 yrs ago before she passed. Im excited because now I can make them.
I have not made cookies for years ,after looking at these I guess I will get back in to it , they really they look awfully good.

I’m assuming you only mix the 3 ingredients and not make the cake mix and then add the pumpkin and chips, right?
I don’t understand your question Amanda. There is no cake mix in these cookies.
