Made this orange loaf and your lemon cake yesterday for my book club meeting. My friends ooed and ahhed over both. They both were very well received. I’ll definitely be making them again and I pointed several people to your blog for the recipes. Both are winners!
Hi Nancy,
We’re thrilled they were both winners for you! We agree; this cake and the lemon cake are equally delicious. Thank you for the kind comment!
I made this tonight. I am a well rounded baker and this is my honest opinion.
The cake was easy to put together. The cake … soft and not dry. In the photo the glaze you have is not how mine looked. I went exactly by the recipe. I didn’t use too much milk. I needed to have made two batches of the final glaze.
The taste… good but not over the top as its orange flavor is very light. It needed more of the Orange I feel to make it more Orange tasting.
I have made your lemon loaf and it was spot on.
This one needs a bit of tweaking.
Made it, loved it, will definitely be making again!!
This Orange Loaf looks amazing and I know it will be calling my name to make it ..only I am hoping there is a way to make it for someone watching their sugar!
