Cake ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 eggs
- Zest from one orange or about 2 tablespoons of orange zest
- 1 cup white granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons orange extract
- 1 cup buttermilk
Drizzle Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 2 tablespoons white granulated sugar
Glaze Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- Milk
Whisk together flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda in a mixing bowl.
In another bowl combine eggs, orange zest, white sugar, olive oil, orange juice, orange or vanilla extract and buttermilk using mixer. Combine with flour and mix with mixer.
Spray a 9 x 5 bread pan and add batter. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until center tests done.
Before removing from pan while still hot, add drizzle below. Cool for 10 minutes and remove from pan.
