HEAVENLY CHOCOLATE BROWNIES
Chocolate brownies are quick, easy and heavenly! If it is chocolate, I like it, and I can eat all these brownies by myself. Try these chocolate brownies on your children or grandchildren and you will come up with an empty plate. Have one with your morning coffee or milk for a great snack. These chocolate brownies would make a wonderful gift for a new neighbor or sick friend or just share them when you have a visitor in your home. They make a delicious dessert with ice cream on top and a little chocolate syrup. They will keep for several days in an air-tight container if you have any left over. You can double the recipe if you want to make a big batch. They are even good heated in the microwave for a few seconds.

White sugar
Cocoa
Salt

Heavenly Chocolate Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/3 cups white sugar
- 3/4 cup cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 sticks butter melted
- 2 teaspoons vanilla flavoring
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup walnut pieces
Instructions
- In a large bowl whisk together the flour, cocoa, sugar and salt. Add the eggs, butter, and vanilla.
- Mix well with a spoon. Pour into a sprayed 8 x 8 inch baking dish and spread out evenly.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips and walnuts over the top. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 35 - 40 minutes.
- Makes 10 to 12 brownies depending on size you cut them
