Easy Coconut Cream Pie - The Southern Lady Cooks

 

This easy coconut cream pie will quickly become a family favorite! It’s absolutely delicious and only a few ingredients. So simple to make and would be perfect for any gathering. You can throw this pie together in no time, put it in the fridge and it’s ready to enjoy.

Easy Coconut Cream Pie

1 graham cracker crust

2 (3.4 ounce boxes) of coconut cream instant pudding

2 cups of heavy whipping cream

1 (8 ounce) container of whipped topping

2/3 cup of sweetened coconut -shredded

1/4th cup of sweetened coconut- toasted

Combine both boxes of the instant pudding and the whipping cream in a bowl and mix well. Add 2/3 cup of shredded coconut then fold in 2/3  of the whipped topping container. Spread mixture into graham cracker crust. Top with remaining whipped topping and toasted coconut. Chill for 2-3 hours before serving. Even better the next day!

Ingredients

  1. Do you use the smaller graham cracker crust or the regular 9 inch like a standard pie?

  2. Just a point of clarification before I start this receipt. You say to combine the pudding mix and whipping cream and “mix well.” So, don’t mix it long enough like you typically would to make a whipping cream?

      You will know when it is mixed well, it will have a thicker consistency.

  3. sorry but confused. do you whip both heavy cream and pudding together??????? then add some of the frozen whip cream????

      You mix the pudding and the whipping cream together and then add in the coconut and fold in the whipped topping. Thanks!

      I’m sure you could. Of course, this is a no-bake pie so you’ll have to bake the pie crust first.
