  1. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS, super easy for my school project. Couldn’t find a better go-to recipe anywhere.5 stars

  2. Carol Stafford says:

I tried the Christmas Pretzels just like your recipe, The chips never got soft enough or smooth to do the pretzels, I tried a little longer and they almost turned to a hard mush. This wasted a lot of my chocolate chips. I don’t recommend this recipe at all considering what I tried. Something must be missing from this recipe.1 star

Carol, I can’t imagine having a hard time with this recipe. You just melt chocolate. I’m not sure if you had some odd type of chocolate chips, but all that is involved in this simple recipe, is melting chocolate chips.

    2. Claudia Hollingshead says:

It sounds like you microwaved them too long. Try melting them 30 seconds at a time, & stirring in between, until just melted. I’ve seen several recipes that say to do it that way. Good luck!

    3. Tamara Fraser says:

you could try adding coconut oil or butter if the chocolate doesnt appear to be melting.
