You just need a few simple ingredients, and you’ll be shocked at how good these little biscuits are. They are decadent and perfect for serving on a weekend morning, at brunch, or for entertaining.

Ingredients Needed for Blueberry Cream Cheese Biscuits:

Grands Pillsbury Biscuits

Fresh blueberries

Cream cheese

Butter

Powdered Sugar

Vanilla

Nuts, optional

Recipe Notes:

We make these biscuits with the Grands Pillsbury Biscuits. I’m sure you can make them with another brand. However, I would choose a larger biscuit to ensure it can hold the blueberries and cream cheese. We sprinkled nuts on the top of our biscuits, which is optional.

Ingredients

  • 1 16.3 ounce can of Grands Pillsbury Biscuits
  • 1.5 cups of fresh blueberries
  • 1 8 ounce block of cream cheese softened (divided)

Topping Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 4 ounces of cream cheese
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9 inch pie pan or 8X8 square pan with cooking spray. Open the biscuits and separate each biscuit to make two biscuits from one. Then pat them down to make them flatter. Spread the inside of the biscuit with cream cheese and add 3 blueberries. Roll into a ball. You should have 16, since the biscuits come with 8 biscuits.
  • Place together (touching) in the pie plate or square pan. Cook for 26-30 minutes until the biscuits test done. Combine topping ingredients with a mixer and spread over biscuits. You can also sprinkle with nuts.

  1. I was wondering if I could use thawed frozen blueberries. I’m thinking that if they’re not thawed they would make the insides too runny or would that be a good thing? Thanks again.

    1. I wouldnt think you would want them to be runny. So if you do used frozen you want to make sure they are dry.

  2. I’m wondering if I could cook each biscuit in a muffin tin instead of a pie pan?

  3. Are these able to made ahead and then put in oven next day?

  6. On the blue berry biscuit recipe, you said add 3 blue berries. I am assuming you meant add the blueberries, right?. Sounds yummy, going to try these. Thanks

    1. The Southern Lady says:

As the picture shows, you add 3 blueberries to each biscuit.

Could you use a different kind of berry? Two of four in my family are not big blueberry fans but would love these otherwise.

      Of course! 🙂
