BAKED BANANAS
If you have not ever had baked bananas, you will love this treat for breakfast in the morning or just any time as a snack. The picture is of just one banana, you can make as many as you like. This is a great recipe to serve for brunch, too. Children will love them! You might also like our easy recipe for fried bananas.
Baked bananas make a wonderful treat and children love to help make these little snacks.
1 banana, cut in half and then split lengthwise 1/4 stick butter or margarine 1 teaspoon cinnamon Corn flakes or cereal of your choice crushed. These are made with Kroger’s brand Crunchy Raisin Bran sweetened with oat clusters. Honey or syrup Melt butter in a bowl, add cinnamon. Dip banana halves into butter then roll in crushed cereal. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Drizzle with honey or syrup. Enjoy! Don’t forget to pin baked bananas.

Will the bananas harden in the oven or remain soft?

Wow, I have never had this before. I love bananas, so this looks really good.
Talk about another way to do bananas and cereal… we just usually cut ’em up into slices and add ’em to our bowl of cereal. Well……. not anymore! These look delicious 🙂
