PEANUT BUTTER PUMPKIN SWIRLS
This peanut butter pumpkin swirls recipe is great for fall.
I love peanut butter and chocolate and adding some pumpkin just makes these better. If you don’t like pumpkin, you can leave it out and just do the chocolate and peanut butter in this recipe. This recipe is kind of like a brownie with peanut butter and pumpkin in the recipe. They are cake like with a softer swirl that makes them even more moist and good. They are great to take to any fall function or gathering.
Peanut Butter Pumpkin Swirls
6 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
3/4 cup 100% pumpkin
2 eggs
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 rounded teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Melt butter and add peanut butter, vanilla extract, pumpkin, eggs, brown sugar and white sugar. Mix with mixer until creamy. Whisk together salt, flour and baking powder. Pour into creamed mixture and mix well. Spray a 9 x 13 baking pan and add batter. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for five minutes, remove and swirl chocolate chips into batter with a knife. Return to the oven and bake and additional 25 to 30 minutes checking for doneness as ovens vary. Cool and cut into squares. Makes 15 to 20 pieces depending on size you cut them. Enjoy!
