EASY PORK AND GRAVY
Pork and gravy is a favorite at my house.
My family loves this pork and gravy over biscuits, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes or any kind of pasta. It is an easy recipe you can throw together on a busy weeknight or anytime you just want a quick meal. The recipe could be cut in half for one or two people. It keeps well for several days in the fridge and can be reheated on the stove top or in the microwave. This would even be good over toast or biscuits with eggs for breakfast.
Pork and gravy is easy and delicious!
1/2 pound pork stew meat, pork sausage, smoked pork sausage or pork tenderloin, (cut in bite-sized pieces)
1 large onion, cut in rings
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1/2 cup water
1 envelope onion soup mix

1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt to taste (Opt.)
In a skillet on top of the stove brown the meat and onion rings in the cooking oil. In a bowl whisk together the water, onion soup mix, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. Cover and cook on medium low for 30 to 35 minutes.
