EASY CRISPY BAKED CHICKEN BREASTS
Crispy baked chicken breasts recipe is easy made in an iron skillet in the oven. This recipe for Easy Crispy Baked Chicken Breasts is easy in the oven and the chicken is crispy and moist. You can use any parts of the chicken in this recipe. I love that the meat is so tender once cooked. This recipe makes a quick and easy weeknight dinner or make it anytime you have friends over as a main dish they will love. Crispy baked chicken breasts will become a favorite way to prepare chicken.
3 to 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (you can use bone-in chicken pieces)
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup cornmeal
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup butter or 4 tablespoons, melted
Whisk together the flour, cornmeal, salt, pepper, chili powder and dried basil in a bowl. Put milk in another bowl. Dip the chicken pieces in the milk and then in the flour/cornmeal mixture. Place in a baking dish and drizzle butter over top of the chicken pieces. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 1 hour or until chicken is done in center. Turn chicken pieces about 15 minutes before they have finished cooking. Makes 3 to 4 servings. Enjoy!
