Easy Cheeseburger Dip The Southern Lady Cooks

This dip is so simple to prepare and truly tastes like a homemade cheeseburger. It’s the perfect dish for watching a game at home, tailgating or any gathering. It comes together quickly and is full of cheesy goodness. Add bacon to make it a bacon cheeseburger dip. Sprinkle this dip with all your favorite cheeseburger toppings. This recipe can easily be doubled or even tripled for a larger group.

Easy Cheeseburger Dip

1 lb lean ground beef

1/2 cup of diced onion

1 teaspoon of minced garlic

4 ounces of cream cheese

4 ounces of sour cream

1.5 cups of shredded cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons of yellow mustard

1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon of liquid smoke

diced tomatoes

chopped dill pickles

potato chips

Brown ground beef, minced garlic and onion over medium heat until cooked through. Drain. Mix all other ingredients in a slow cooker and cook on low until warmed through. Slow cookers vary, it takes mine around an hour to warm through.  Watch it, this is a thick dip and you don’t want to burn it. This can easily be cooked on top of the stove.  Top with diced tomatoes and dill pickles. Serve with potato chips.

Note: This dip is also fabulous poured over tater tots or French fries.
