CHERRY FLUFF DESSERT

Cherry FluffCherry Fluff is a wonderful dessert to take to a potluck or anywhere you have a crowd.  This cherry fluff is addictive and I love having it in the fridge for when I want something sweet during the day or after any meal.  You could double the recipe if you are feeding a bunch of people but this makes a lot.  Cherry fluff will keep in the fridge for several days.  It is a versatile recipe in that you could substitute the cherry pie filling with just about any pie filling you like.  If you don’t like nuts, leave them off.  This cherry fluff only takes a few minutes to make and is a very easy recipe.  This is one you will make over and over again.  You might like to check out our recipe for heavenly fruit salad, too.

Ingredients for cherry fluff:

1 (20 ounce) can cherry pie filling

1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, well drained

1 (14 ounce) can condensed milk (not evaporated milk)

1 1/2 cups flaked coconut

1/2 to 1 cup chopped nuts (I use pecans or walnuts)

1 (8 ounce) cool whip

1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows

Mix together the cherry pie filling, crushed pineapple, milk and coconut in a large bowl with a spoon.  Fold in nuts, cool whip and marshmallows.  Mix well with spoon.  Refrigerate several hours before serving.  (I can eat this immediately. It doesn’t have to be cold for me!). The cherries in the photos are maraschino cherries I added for some color in the pictures.  Makes 8 to 9 cups of fluff.  Enjoy!
