CINNAMON HORNS
These Cinnamon Horns or Cinnamon Bugles are the perfect treat. They take about 5 minutes to make and you won’t have any left. They are always the first to go when I make them for a party. One of the best things about these little treats is they are only 4 ingredients. Make these for a great snack or appetizer your friends and family will love.
Cinnamon Bugles are so much fun to make and they taste wonderful.

Cinnamon Horns
5 tablespoons of butter, melted
1/2 cup of white granulated sugar
1.5 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
4 cups of Bugles
Mix all ingredients together and place on a baking sheet. Be sure and spray your baking sheet with non-stick spray. Place sheet in oven and broil on high for 1 minute, take out and stir the bugles and place back in the oven on broil for 30 seconds to a minute. Watch them VERY carefully so they do not burn. Let cool and then serve or store in an air tight container. This makes 4 cups.

These little snacks make the perfect gift for the holidays. We like to make them up and place them in cute air tight containers with gift tags for our friends and family. It’s become such a tradition our friends ask for them each year. It’s a great inexpensive gift and you can double or triple the recipe to make quite a bit. Hi! Do you put your rack on the top rack and use the “HI” broil? I have a high and low. The first batch I used “Hi” and top rack for one minute. They burnt. Tried again to experiment and used one rack down and switched it to low broil. Worked better. Great receipe though!!
We leave our rack where we always have it, which is about center of the oven, or maybe one place above center. I only have one setting for broil, which is 500 degrees. I only leave it in there a VERY short amount of time and never walk away from the stove.
Made these today, first batch made as per recipe. I had clumps of the mixture on the pan. I stirred them several times still didn’t all dissolve. Made a second batch using the suggestions in the comments. Coat bugles with butter then coat with cinnamon sugar. Worked great. These are great.
I made these today. The first batch I made as the recipe says. I had a lot of the cinnamon sugar in clumps under the bugles. I even took them out and stirred them several times. Then as I was reading the comments they got just a little brown. So, I made another batch. I took the suggestion of pouring the melted butter over the bugles then adding the cinnamon sugar mixture gradually. Worked so much better. These are so good.
They have become a Christmas favorite in my gift treat bags! Easy to make and delicious!

These are really yummy, but my butter/cinnamon/sugar mixture did not stick all that well to the bugles. Took a lot of stirring. After pouring them on the baking sheet, scooped up blobs of the mixture into the opening of the bugles. They are good, though!!

They are crunchy coming out of the oven.

I am going to try again. My first batch caught on fire. When the recipe says broil 30 seconds. DON’T leave them in the oven any longer than that! It was my fault for leaving them in longer than I should.
Pat, I would think that is exactly it. I just made them and coated the bugles in the butter then sprinkled the cinnamon sugar over it and coated thoroughly again. They were perfect, delicious and already gone!!
I had alot of the cinnamon sugar mixture left too Marie. Wondered if it was because I mixed the sugar, cinnamon, and butter together first and then added the bugles?
I had a lot of cinnamon sugar left on the cookie sheet. Is this normal? They are delicious but wondered if the excess was normal
I don’t know what you mean by a lot but some will naturally come off on the sheet.
I had a lot left over too, so I just kept adding bugles till it all looked incorporated!
