Herb Biscuit Twists
Ingredients:1 (7.5 ounce) can Pillsbury country style biscuits 4 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes 1 teaspoon basil 1 teaspoon oregano 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Directions Melt the butter in microwave, add remaining ingredients except biscuits and whisk together in a bowl. Roll each biscuit out or pat out with your hand to about 5 x 2 inches. Cut each one in half. Twist each half piece 3 or 4 times and dip in your herb and butter mixture. Place on baking sheet. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven 10 to 12 minutes until browned. These are great with salsa, or any pasta dish. I like them for a snack. See photos below for how I cut the biscuits. Enjoy!
Cinnamon Biscuit Twists
Ingredients1 (7.5 ounce) can Pillsbury country style biscuits 4 tablespoons butter or margarine 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 1/4 teaspoon cloves 1 teaspoon honey Directions Mix all ingredients except biscuits and melt in microwave. Cut biscuits according to directions above, twist and dip in cinnamon and butter. Place on baking sheet and bake in preheated 400 degree oven 10 to 12 minutes. Serve with your favorite jam or just as they are. Great with milk, coffee and for breakfast. Enjoy! Note: You can make these with the larger cans of biscuits for bigger twists. You can also dip in chocolate or whatever you come up with.
