SMOKED SAUSAGE AND BRUSSELS SPROUTS – LIGHT RECIPE
Smoked sausage and Brussels sprouts is so easy.
This is a VERY easy dish, especially since it is only 3 ingredients! This is perfect for those busy nights or to make on a Sunday evening, for lunch during the week. I personally like my Brussels sprouts a little crunchy so I love this versatile dish!
1/2 lb of Smoked Beef Sausage
1 package fresh Brussels sprouts (cut stems off and slice in half)
2 tablespoons of coconut oil
In large skillet, heat coconut oil over medium heat, add Brussels sprouts and smoked sausage. Continue to stir and cook until the underside is brown to your liking. I like mine pretty brown, so this normally takes about 12-15 minutes on medium heat. You may need to add more coconut oil during the cooking process. Enjoy!
This is a great way to get more vegetables in and it is gluten free, low carb and DELICIOUS!

In place of coconut oil can you use?
Any oil will work Jan. Enjoy!
I usually use bacon with Brussel sprouts, but this looks amazing. Think I’ll try smoked kielbasa. Thanks for the idea!!
You’re very welcome. Enjoy!

For the Brussels Sprout Sausage, could you use frozen brussels sprouts?
I think that would work just fine.
