GARLIC BUTTER SPREAD – 4 Ingredients

Garlic butter spread is so versatile and so good.

Garlic Butter Spread - The Southern Lady Cooks

This garlic butter spread is wonderful to go on so many different breads, rolls, biscuits and we even like it on mashed and baked potatoes.  You can add more or less of the ingredients to make it your own and to your own taste.  You could cut this in half if you just want to try it or even double it if you have several people to feed.  It keeps well refrigerated in an air-tight container for at least a week or more.  Try this recipe and leave us a comment on how you liked it and how you made yours for your family.  We love hearing from you and thank you for all the great ratings you have left us in the past.   You might also like our recipe for cinnamon butter with honey.

Garlic butter spread is great to keep on hand for a quick addition to breads, rolls and biscuits.

2 sticks salted butter, softened, or 1 cup or 16 tablespoons

2 teaspoons garlic powder

2 teaspoons onion powder

2 teaspoons dried parsley

Put softened butter into a mixing bowl, add in garlic powder, onion powder and dried parsley.  Mix with mixer.  Makes 1 cup.  Enjoy!

Note:  You can make it Italian by adding about a teaspoon Parmesan cheese and a couple teaspoons dried oregano.  You could also add basil or thyme to this recipe to make it to your own taste.  You can also substitute fresh garlic, chopped onions or dried garlic flakes and onion flakes or fresh parsley.  My family loves the above recipe.
