FRUIT COCKTAIL LUNCH BOX CAKE

Old-Fashioned Fruit Cocktail Lunch Box CakeFruit cocktail lunch box cake is an old-fashioned recipe that has been around for a long time.  There are several different varieties of this cake and like the name, they were made for children to carry in their lunch boxes.  It is a great cake to experiment with and add your own touch.  This fruit cocktail lunch box cake is easy and quick to throw together and makes a great dessert or after school snack or lunch box treat. I love this cake with coffee in the mornings.  You could serve it with ice cream or whipped cream on top since it does not have frosting.  You might like to check out our recipe for almond joy cake, too.
