FANTASTIC FUDGE PIE
This Fantastic Fudge Pie is easy to make and is great with ice cream on top and chocolate syrup. If you like chocolate and nuts, you’ll love this one! Take this pie anywhere for any holiday gathering or event or just make it for family. Make one for a friend or neighbor. It is so good with your morning coffee or with a glass of milk for an afternoon snack and the best dessert ever if you are a chocolate lover. Fudge pie is so easy, it will quickly become one of your favorites and it is delicious, too.
1 stick butter or margarine melted
1/4 cup cocoa
1/4 cup self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 cup chopped pecans(can use walnuts)
1 frozen unbaked pie shell (not the deep dish) or you can make your own shell (Click here for How to Make Homemade Pie Crusts)
Mix above ingredients and pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees 25 to 30 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean. Enjoy!

You can use whichever you like, we don’t like to add salt, so we use unsalted. It’s not going to make much of a difference.
Do you think this would turn out well if I used a graham crust?

Could someone help me in finding a “Yankee Cake” recipe. I did find one but I couldn’t go by it. It did not give measurements, what type of fruit to use & etc.. I have never heard/ate one, but a friend ask me to make one that he had a grandmother that had made these, and cannot come of up with the recipe for me. Thank you !!
