DILL PICKLE PASTA SALAD
This delicious dill pickle pasta salad is one your family will love. I added a few of my favorite things to this delicious salad, like bacon and red onion and I think it turned out fantastic! Super easy to make and great for any gathering. The cheddar cheese and the pickles go so well together.
I’ve taken this dish to BBQs, potlucks, and family gatherings and someone always wants the recipe. It’s easy and so good!
Dill Pickle Pasta Salad
Dry pasta shells (or whatever pasta you prefer)
Sliced dill pickles
Sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
Red onion
Fresh dill
Bacon
Mayonnaise
Sour cream
Smoked paprika
Pickle juice
Notes: You can always use any type of pasta you want in this recipe. You can substitute bacon bits for real bacon which I have done several times to save time. Yes, you can use any type of mayonnaise or salad dressing that your family prefers.

Dill Pickle Pasta Salad
Ingredients
- 3 cups of dry pasta shells or whatever pasta you prefer
- 1.5 cups of dill pickles sliced
- 1 cup of sharp cheddar cheese cubed
- 1/4 th cup of red onion chopped
- 2 tablespoons of fresh dill
- 1/4 th cup of bacon chopped I used real bacon bits to save time
Dressing for Pasta
- 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup of sour cream
- 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons of pickle juice
Instructions
- Boil pasta according to directions, drain and rinse under cold water and set aside. Combine, pickles, cheese red onion, fresh dill and bacon in a bowl.
- In separate bowl, mix together topping ingredients and stir until well combined. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Chill for an hour and serve.
