CREAMY SPINACH DIP
Spinach dip is a favorite at my house. We love this dip. I can’t get enough of it and it does not last long. This dip is good with anything. I have even put it on baked potatoes! This is an easy recipe and keeps well for several days in the refrigerator. You could double the recipe for a large group of people. Serve this dip with any kind of crackers, chips, scoops or whatever you like. This would be great to serve for the super bowl, tailgating, buffets, picnics or just make it at home for family to munch on while watching movies or t.v. The spices really add to the flavor of this dip and you will make it over and over again.
Spinach dip is great for any event or occasion.
Fresh Spinach (Enough to make 2 cups of chopped spinach) 2 tablespoons green onion, finely chopped 1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, chopped 2 tablespoons mayonnaise 1 teaspoon soy sauce 2/3 cup sour cream 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes pinch of cayenne 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (Optional) Nuts of your choice (Optional) Mix all ingredients together. Chill for a couple of hours before serving. Serve with breads, chips or crackers. Note: We like it just plain without the cheese and nuts but it’s good both ways. Makes about 3 cups. Enjoy!
