REFRIGERATED FOODS/ROOM TEMPERATURE FOODS-LIST

Refrigerated foods/room temperature foods list helps you to determine how to get the best longevity and quality out of certain foods.  This list contains some of the more important items you purchase. There are always times when you might put an item in the fridge to try and make it last a few more days once it has been stored at room temperature.  You can print this off and post on your fridge as a handy guide. REFRIGERATE:

Apples, Beans, Berries, Broccoli, Carrots, Celery, Cheese,  Cherries, Eggplant, Eggs, Grapes, Jalapenos, Leafy Greens, Meat, Milk, Zucchini.

 

KEEP AT ROOM TEMPERATURE:

Avocados, Apricots, Bread, Citrus, Coffee, Garlic, Honey, Kiwi, Melons, Onions, Pears, Peaches, Pineapple, Potatoes, Tomatoes.

 

Optional:

Butter and Bananas

Note:  According to the USDA, eggs purchased from the supermarkets in the US should be refrigerated due to the way they are processed.
