Refrigerated foods and room temperature foods is an easy guide.
REFRIGERATE:
Apples, Beans, Berries, Broccoli, Carrots, Celery, Cheese, Cherries, Eggplant, Eggs, Grapes, Jalapenos, Leafy Greens, Meat, Milk, Zucchini.
KEEP AT ROOM TEMPERATURE:
Avocados, Apricots, Bread, Citrus, Coffee, Garlic, Honey, Kiwi, Melons, Onions, Pears, Peaches, Pineapple, Potatoes, Tomatoes.
Optional:
Butter and Bananas
Note: According to the USDA, eggs purchased from the supermarkets in the US should be refrigerated due to the way they are processed.
