This classic fruit salad can be made using various fruits but I always add miniature marshmallows, coconut, and sour cream. A great salad to accompany any holiday meal or to serve anytime! My family loves this one.
1 (16) oz can chunk pineapple, drained
2 (8) oz cans mandarin oranges drained
1 cup sour cream
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup raisins
1 cup walnut pieces (can use pecans or any kind of nut you like)
Mix together and refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
Note: Can be made with fresh or canned fruit. I also use bananas, strawberries, blueberries and any other fruit I might have available.
