QUICK AND EASY BAKED TACOS
Quick and easy baked tacos make a perfect weeknight dinner!
We love easy recipes and that is exactly what this dish is. Quick and easy baked tacos are are exactly that…baked and easy tacos. Don’t knock it till you try it. I swear baking them adds a whole new flavor. When you bake them, all the ingredients blend together and the shells hold up better. We made these for dinner the other night and I will share the ingredients, even though most everyone knows how to make tacos.
1 box of Ortega Stand and Stuff Shells
1 lb of lean ground turkey or beef
1 (14.5 ounce) can of black beans (drained)
1 Frontera Texas Original Skillet Sauce (view here) or a packet of taco seasoning
Shredded Cheese
Toppings of choice
Salsa
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Prepare ground turkey or beef with skillet sauce (or taco seasoning) and black beans in a skillet on the stove. Add taco meat to shells and stack in a casserole dish, then top with toppings of your choice such as green chilies, diced tomatoes, onions, etc. Then add cheese and bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and top with sour cream and salsa and enjoy! They are delicious!
Note: You can use whatever meat you want, ground beef, chicken, turkey, etc. Also if you like recipes made with ground beef.. be sure and check out these TEN!

Is there a difference between Frontera Skillet Sauce and just packaged taco seasoning? Thanks
Yes, there is a difference, but you can use either.
