HOMEMADE TACO SAUCE

Ingredients for homemade taco sauce
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1/3 cup water
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 1/2 teaspoons onion flakes
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon white granulated sugar or could use honey
1/8 teaspoon cayenne
Few drops hot sauce (optional)
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan on top of the stove and simmer on low for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes about 1 1/4 cups. Enjoy!
