These baby carrots cooked with brown sugar, butter, spices and molasses make a wonderful sidedish served with any meal. This is a great way to get children to eat carrots, too.

16 ounces baby carrots
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 cup water
dash salt
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1 tablespoon molasses
In a saucepan mix all ingredients, add baby carrots, bring to boil.  Reduce heat to medium, leave pot uncovered, and continue cooking 20 to 25 minutes until carrots are tender.  Place carrots in serving dish and drizzle with remaining liquid.  Serves 4 to 6.  Enjoy!
