CHINESE BUFFET DONUTS – 3 Ingredients
Chinese buffet donuts are so easy to make and so good with your morning coffee.
Chinese buffet donuts will become a quick favorite to make for children and grandchildren.
1 (7.5) ounce can buttermilk biscuits
White granulated sugar (about 1/4 cup)
Cooking oil (I used Canola and enough to make about 1/2 inch in a small pot)
Heat oil between medium and high until HOT. Drop in biscuits one at a time until golden brown. Depending on how hot your oil is, this will take no time at all. Flip to other side, cook till golden brown. Remove to paper towels and dip in sugar. Makes 12 donuts.
This took only seconds because my oil was very hot. Times will vary.
Note: I add 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon to the sugar to make the cinnamon donuts. You can add more or less cinnamon to suit your taste.
